New Character Information window

In our final update of the month and until the 15th of September, we have reworked significant areas of our user interface. Many areas of the interface are a placeholder and will be implemented and changed as new features are implemented, however we plan to stick with the general layout of the windows. This update builds the way for our upcoming initial Woodcutting skill implementation in a few weeks, which makes use of the new equipment panel, statistics, and many game server related changes. Please continue to offer your feedback with how entities spawn on the map, and you thoughts on the new user interface layout. We look forward to showing off our next update in a few weeks.

Change Log

  • Added new Character Window
    • The window allows for access to the skills panel and stats panel.
    • Quests and Guild windows are currently placeholder.
    • New key statistics are shown on the window. A few of these are currently not yet implemented.
    • You can access the previous settings window, open the wiki, and report bug window from the top left of the character window.
  • Added new Inventory and Equipment Window
    • You can switch between the equipment and inventory views using the tabs at the top.
    • You can view your money in the inventory window.
    • The equipment panel features mostly placeholder content.
  • Added new Statistics window accessible from the buttons in the character window. We have implemented a few statistics we have been tracking behind the scenes to the client for players to view.
    • You can now view the statistic for the total unique hubs you have visited.
    • You can now view the statistic for the total unique POIs you have visited.
  • Changed the amount of entities spawning for players.
  • Fixed a bug where the game would freeze in the loading screen if no nearby locations were available. (thank you DarQwalker63).

Future Changes

Although some of the features below were previously listed as "Future Changes" for this week, the following changes are still planned for a future update:

  • Ability to turn the vibration off in new settings menu.
  • Animations for opening and closing the windows.

Testing Notes

  • Please report any feedback you might have about the variations, positions, or amounts of entities that spawn on your map.
  • We are continuing to look for feedback on any issues you encounter when using the game. This includes errors when connecting to the server, disconnections while playing, or issues interacting with locations.
  • All new windows and interfaces are still a heavy work in progress or using placeholder graphics and will change over the next couple of builds.
