Welcome to the Big City!

Seasons Greetings! This will be our final significant update of 2023. After a few months of work we are happy to release one of the major Town Hub related systems: Traders. Traders allow players to craft new items, sell and buy items, upgrade current tools and weapons, and unlock new ones. All three of these systems are now in and available from our first trader, The Carpenter. The Carpenter acts as you main port of call for all things woodcutting. This means that finally after 1.5 months since its implementation, you will now be able to obtain the Copper Axe and cut down the elusive Birch Trees. Craft items to increase the Trader's experience allowing you to move up to the next tier. As mentioned in the previous update, you must have reached level 5 Woodcutting to move up to the next tier with the Carpenter. You can click his level at the top of the Trader menu to view more info. Our wiki will be updated shortly with more information relating to the update.

Thank you to everyone who has tested updates this year. We have made great progress and will be increasing the rate of updates moving into 2024. We hope by April we will have nearly finished all our base systems in Realms such as Quests, Friends, Town Donations, Item Storage, Bag Space Upgrades, and much more! Have a good Christmas and as always, thank you for testing with us!

Change Log

  • Implemented Visiting Town Hubs
    • Visiting a town hub will not actually let you visit the town along with access to visit multiple sub-areas of the town such as the new Carpenter Trader.
    • All models and interface design are placeholder.
  • Add the Carpenter Trader
    • This trader is focused on helping players develop their Woodcutting skill and provide trading options for the Ranger skill.
    • The carpenters experience can be increased by crafting items. Once you have reached 400 experience you will have the option to level him up and receive the Copper Axe.
    • The carpenter allows players to buy wood temporarily for their current Woodcutting skill tier.
  • Added Barter Trades
    • Visit the Carpenter to sell your no longer needed goods
    • Visit the Carpenter to buy goods to help with crafting.
  • Added Tool Upgrading
    • You can now upgrade your Axe by visiting the Carpenter.
    • Upgrading the tool head allows you to receive more logs per woodcutting chop.
    • Upgrading the tool handle unlocks improved accuracy bars per woodcutting chop.
  • Add Crafting System
    • You can visit the Carpenter to place crafting orders for Woodcutting and Ranging skill related items.
    • Crafting with a trader improves their experience, unlocking more crafting and upgrade options.
    • Crafting takes a set amount of time and when completed you can collect the crafted items.
    • You can collect items already complete as part of an order at anytime.
  • Added new trader related statistics
    • These will be visible in a future minor update before the New Year.
    • These will continue to increment until that time.
  • Added new server uptime tracking and logging
    • This allows us to better track server health and should ensure minimal downtime in the future.
  • Added new Town Hub and POI locations for Tenerife, and South Western Montreal.
    • These new locations will become available from 21st December 00:00 GMT
